Both conferences went well and were well received. Anita, Matthew and I felt and knew that we were being upheld and sustained in prayer during both of them. We believe that God granted us great connections and a fruitful planting; time will tell whether the fruit will last, but we are confident that we were well within the Lord's purposes and timing.
The Kaliningrad conference had around 22-25 people in attendance. Sasha and Ksoosha were please with how many people were there and said it was a good turnout. The people listened attentively, took notes and participated in prayer and in the meditation session. Afterwards we had the privilege to pray individually with several people. I went to Ksoosha's church on Sunday and several people told me how much they enjoyed it and how it had helped them. They thanked me for coming and sharing ASK. Sasha and Ksoosha also gained a better understanding of what ASK is about.

The Gusev conference had around 60-65 people in attendance. I knew that we would have more people there and was greatly pleased at the turnout. Most of the people were from the Gusev church but there were a handful of people from other churches who came too. Just as in KGD, the people listened attentively, took notes and participated in prayer and in the meditation. Kalzhan, the pastor of the church, gained a better undertanding of what ASK is about and thank us for sharing.
It was in Gusev that we really felt your prayers as we had an interruption in the evening session. The people from passport control came to check our passports. We had to leave the conference and go to their office to answers some questions. We knew that the church was praying as well as our faithful intercessors. Nothing like this has happened to me personally in all the years I have been coming to Russia. It was quite intense but all was well after about two hours. We know that God answered prayer on our behalf and gave us favor. We finally returned to the church around 7:45 pm and were able to finish the conference with joy. During our last session, we prayed for the Russian officials in Gusev and all of Russia. Anita, Matthew and I thank you for your faithfulness to pray for us.

We got back into KGD around midnight. Anita and Matthew had an early morning departure so we said our goodbyes then. It was such a privilege and joy for me to be a part of this ASK team. We worked together well and complimented one another in our gifts and abilities. I do look forward to being with them again in Russia. :)
Angela begins her journey to Russia tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers as she travels. She will arrive in KGD around noon on Wednesday. I am looking forward to greeting her and welcoming her to Russia. :)
Tomorrow I get to spend time with the daughter of my heart, Olga, and her husband, Pasha. :)
Thank you again for your prayers. Will hopefully write again in a day or two.
