Update

In three days, I will be on my way to Russia!  In four days, Matthew and Anita will be on their way to Russia!  And in eleven days, Angela will be on her way to Russia!   We are all delighted to be a part of what God is doing there.  We realize that He is planting and germinating seeds of faith, healing parched souls and shining the Son’s light in darkened hearts.  We humbly embrace His plan and purpose.  Pray that we will speak His word with great boldness and confidence, without wavering and trusting Him to do what He does best - the miraculous!

All of us have had many challenges in the past couple of weeks but the Lord has faithfully brought us through each one.  We thank Him that He is our strength and help in times of trouble. And we thank you for your faithfulness to pray for us.  We need for you to continue to intercede for us as we prepare to go, while we are there and when we return.  You will find our prayer requests on the calendar below.

Russia 2013

Dear Partners,

Greetings in the name of the Lord!  “Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.  Sing to the Lord, praise His name; proclaim His salvation day after day.  Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.  For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; He is to be feared above all the gods.”  Ps. 96: 1-4   Once again, the Lord is giving me the privilege of singing a new song, proclaiming His salvation and declaring His glory in the Kaliningrad Region of Russia.

The first part of my trip will be a little different this year as it will include ministering with ASK Network -- an international movement of people from all nations and all generations who long to see God’s kingdom come and who have heard and felt the call to pray — to ASK.  I will join with Anita Cleverly and Matthew Key from England to hold two ASK Network Conferences in the Kaliningrad region...one with the Church of the Living God in Gusev and the other with Christian Life Church in the city of Kaliningrad. The conferences are intended to encourage our Russian brothers and sisters through prayer, worship, Biblical meditation and teaching.

After the ASK Network Conferences, Angela Eanes will join me to spend several days with the children and staff of Kolosok Orphanage.  We recently learned that Kolosok Orphanage will be closed in May 2014.  After 14 years of history with this orphanage, our hearts are extremely sad and saying goodbye will not be easy.  Please pray that the Lord will use us to bring encouragement, love and truth to our beloved children and staff.   

The dates of my trip are June 3 - 21, 2013. The cost of our trip will be $2600. I invite you to join me in this ministry opportunity through prayer and financial support.  While financial support is definitely necessary, your prayer support is essential during this time of preparation, while we are on our trip and when we return home.

• Abundant provision to share. 2Cor. 9:11
• The ASK Network Conferences. Heb. 10:24-25; Acts 17:11
• For unity in our American/British/Russian team.  Phil. 2:1-5, Col. 3:14
